Dave Marcis is a former American professional stock car racing driver known for his long and successful career in NASCAR. Born on March 1, 1941 in Wausau, Wisconsin, Marcis began his NASCAR Cup Series career in 1968 and raced until his retirement in 2002.

In his career, Marcis drove for various teams and achieved several victories, with his most notable win coming at the 1976 Old Dominion 500 at Martinsville Speedway. He also had 94 top-five finishes and 222 top-ten finishes in his 883 career starts.

Marcis was known for his longevity in the sport, competing in a total of 883 Cup Series races over 33 seasons, earning him the nickname "The Wisconsin Ironman." He was also known for his mechanical skills and often built and maintained his own race cars.

After retiring from full-time racing, Marcis continued to make occasional starts in NASCAR until 2002. He was later inducted into the Wisconsin Auto Racing Hall of Fame in 2011 in recognition of his contributions to the sport.
